Martin A. French, Queen's University

Martin French is a PhD candidate with the Department of Sociology at Queen’s University. His work uses contemporary social and political theory to unpack important social transformations. He has written on surveillance and privacy, state policy towards Indigenous Peoples, and the politics of public health. His current work explores the politics manifest in the policies, practices and technology of health surveillance in Canada in the wake of the SARS crisis.
